Early Years Funding:

Early Years Funding is a government scheme which is administered by local authorities, which offers funded childcare hours for children with an Ofsted registered provider for 38 weeks of the year. Willow Nurseries can choose how to offer the Early Years Funding, as long as the following conditions are adhered to:

  • Funded childcare cannot be accessed for more than 10 hours in a single day.
  • Funded childcare must be accessed between 6am and 8pm; and
  • Funded childcare can only be accessed at a maximum of two childcare sites in a single day.

Our Funding offer:

At Willow Nurseries we want to ensure that all our families maximise on their funding.

We offer all funded places for a minimum of two days a week to ensure consistency for our children and to enable our families to maximise their funded childcare by using 10 hours of funding a day.

We provide childcare all year round and stretch the Early Years Funding across 51 weeks.

Please see the table below which shows the maximum funded hours families can access per week, these depend on the child start date and are shown based on our minimum 2-day attendance. The stretched offer is calculated from start date to the following autumn term and 12 months is then calculated from the autumn term.
