Meet the team 

Justine Gilbert - Owner of willow nurseries

Justine Gilbert

I am the owner/manager of Willow Nurseries and I have thirty nine years' experience in early years. I started my journey as a Nursery Practitioner and have worked in many roles in our wonderful industry including manager, regional and operation director, regulatory inspector for Ofsted and early years consultant. As well as my NNEB, I have a BA (Hons) in Professional Development in Education and am the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at the nursery.

I am passionate in providing children and families with the very best and children are always at the centre of my decision making.

 

Chris Gilbert - Co owner of willow nurseries

Chris Gilbert

I am the co-owner of Willow Nurseries with my wife Justine. I have experience in management and have spent most of my career in the civil service. I manage the commercial side of the business (as well as cooking for the children when our chef is on holiday!).

I am delighted to be embarking on this new journey building our nursery in West Derby and am committed to ensuring our children and parents have a seamless journey with us.
