Here at Willow Nurseries, we have a small but lovely outdoor area with a wide range of exciting resources, including a sensory area, mud kitchen, a reading area and sand and water play. This will inspire children's creativity and imagination as well as supporting their physical development.

Baby Room 

(3 months - 2 years)

Our homely Baby Room has lots of areas for your baby to explore. There are a wide range of sensory experiences to excite and stimulate your little one.

(2-3 years)

Our spacious Toddler Room provides a wide range of opportunities and experiences for your child to discover and develop their independence

Pre-school 

(3-5 years)

Curriculum

Your little one will get the best start on their learning journey at Willow Nurseries. We build on the EYFS curriculum with an additional focus on our own core values. We combine a wide range of experiences and opportunities to develop the skills your child needs to reach their full potential. Emotional well-being is at the core of our practice and we focus on the whole child to ensure all of our children develop the knowledge and skills they need for the next stage of their learning and reach their maximum potential.

Extra-curricular activities

MyHappymind

MyHappymind is an innovative curriculum we deliver at Willow Nurseries to build resilient, balanced and happy minds for our children both at nursery and at home! Children learn about the science behind how their brain works and what it takes to create positive well-being. There is also an online platform for parents to join their children in strategies to support self-regulation.

Foreign languages

At an additional cost, our over 2's have the option to learn an additional language. This enables children to have an understanding of the wider world, develop their listening skills as well as the confidence to express themselves using different sounds and words.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Parent partnership

At Willow Nurseries we actively encourage you to be part of your child's learning journey, after all you are the expert on your child. Your child's daily diary and progress updates including observations, photographs and videos will be shared via our Family app. Our parents are also able to view and send messages from and to the nursery using the app.

You will also be invited to join us for a twice-yearly parents' evening to celebrate your children's successes as well as regular events such as Mother's day and Father's day breakfasts, and local trips.
